The line-up is made up of the iQoo 9, iQoo 9 Pro, and iQoo 9 SE. The phones are designed with performance and gaming in mind, whilst retaining the refined and slick design that Vivo is known for. The three phones are launching in today, but no release date has been confirmed for other markets like the UK or Europe – and a US release is unlikely. You can see our unboxing of the iQoo 9 Pro Legend Edition below: The range is led by the top-spec iQoo 9 Pro – one of the first phones on the market to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, which is paired with either 8GB or 12GB LPDDR5 RAM. Meanwhile, the regular 9 runs on a Snapdragon 888+ processor, whilst the 9 SE features a Snapdragon 888 chip. To enhance the gaming experience, the 9 Pro and 9 are fitted with a vapour chamber liquid cooling system, which Vivo claims can cool the phone’s surface temperature by an impressive 4℃. The Pro comes equipped with a 4700mAh battery, along with 120W fast charging technology, while the 9 has a smaller 4350mAh battery but hits the same charging speeds. Gaming should also look great on the iQoo 9 Pro, with the phone boasting a 2K E5 AMOLED display, coupled with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. Whilst the 9 Pro is a gaming device, it can still produce some great snaps. It’s fitted with a triple camera set-up, made up of a 50MP Samsung GN5 sensor with gimbal stabilisation technology, a 50Mp 150-degree fisheye wide-angle camera, and a 16Mp telephoto lens. The 9 and 9 SE also feature triple camera set-ups, with the former being led by a 48Mp gimbal lens and the latter led by a 48Mp OIS snapper. The phone company is continuing its partnership with BMW M Motorsport by adding Legend Editions for the 9 Pro and 9. The design is inspired by a racetrack, with a white rear and a distinctive tri-colour stripe.
